What the accounting module offers
All entries in chronological order, filterable by account, period, and document. Reversal instead of deletion; every change is traceable.
Totals and balances per account, with prior-year comparison and drill-down to the individual document.
Fixed-asset register, straight-line and declining balance, low-value-asset thresholds (GWG), pool items, and an automatic depreciation run.
Recognition, release, and measurement with history, so the financial statements stay auditable.
Lock the month, quarter, and year; after that, only reclassifications with a log are possible.
Cash-basis income statement on the official form, straight from the entries and documents.
Every entry has two sides. ZepDesk knows both.
Example: a customer invoice for 3.427,20 € gross with 19 percent VAT (Umsatzsteuer). Keep scrolling and the journal entry builds up and the balance runs to zero, as double-entry accounting requires.
Account numbers follow SKR03. Under SKR04 they differ; ZepDesk assembles the journal entry itself in either chart of accounts.
The chart of accounts fits the legal form
SKR03 or SKR04, preset with the accounts common to your industry. Associations also post across the four spheres under § 64 AO, and corporations use the accounts for the balance sheet and E-Bilanz.
Bring your bookkeeping over.
Create the company, choose the chart of accounts, import the opening balance sheet or starting values. We help with the move.
